Secrets Frenzy!
Love the show to the max. I can't believe I teared a number of times over a few scenes. Gosh...I'm so into it!

Updates after a long hiatus!
It’s time for me to post something on my blog. No more excuses of not having the time to post an entry especially when I’m so free at work. Yes, you heard me right, darn free at work. Friends whom are close to me will know that I enjoy making my schedule really pack, jam packed with exciting activities. It really dampens my spirits when work life isn’t fulfilling at all. So I guess I’ve got to spice up my after work activities then!
My Ups
I officially got admitted into a voluntary group that I’ve always wanted to join. I shall keep it in suspense here since I’ve not completed my training yet. I don’t think it’s something to be announced out loudly anyway so I’ll stop elaborating from this point on. Nevertheless, it has been a totally enriching experience so far and I’m enjoying every minute of it though it really takes up a great deal of my time away.
I started on my make up lesson. Shocking uh? A tomboyish me will get herself entwined in such a girly activity. Well, I guess it’s one of the lifeskill sets that I tell myself I’ve got to attain at some point of time. I believe that it is important to dress up appropriately for certain functions and events. I vaguely know how to do my own make up but I think I’ll be better for me to learn it via the proper way. Since now I’m a little more financially abled so I shall invest some of it in learning something useful. It is a once a week thingy and so far it has been pretty interesting.
Knowing to beautify myself using make up brushes isn’t sufficient when you’ve a flabby body. Need to lose those fats and achieve a lean body so I can continue to don on my existing clothes. I continued to exercise regularly and actively learning tennis as well. I’ve been practising it for a month or so. I wouldn’t say I’m really good at it but I think I’m coping well. Recently, I haven’t been improving during tennis lesson so that’s not a positive sign. Hopefully I’ll be able to play a proper game really soon. Learning a new sports is probably the most exciting activity of the week!
My Downs
Work is boring and it is really affecting me deeply. I get very depressed from time to time and it’s unhealthy for the mind. I thought myself to be an optimistic person but somehow as age goes by, the optimism in me seems to be diminishing. I’m seriously considering switching job when the year ends but I’m a little indecisive upon my next move. For now, it’s a waiting game and we’ll shall it. Deep down I still am very much interested in staying in this industry but I dislike my current position. I hate being desk bound and would prefer a moving job. Well, I’m pretty much stuck in it so I’ll just have to deal with it. Pay raise and bonus recently issued wasn’t promising at all. I’m running out of motivational fuel.
Got back into tutoring as my paycheck wasn’t fat enough to sustain the big appetite I have. I need to fund the courses that I’m attending currently and meanwhile save up for my upcoming holiday plans. I know teaching isn’t something for me as I have very little patience in repetitive naggings. Moreover to handle a big class will be a headache so personally tutoring is the way out. It’s one of the activities to get quick bucks to supplement my daily needs. My lessons are regularly held during the weekends so that means less time spent with my friends. But I’m sure I can work things out some way or another.
Everyday is still jam packed with activities and I hope I’ll make use of the whole day that I have. You never know what happens at the next moment. As I always phased in a crude manner, “I may be knocked down by the car, the next moment I step out. So make full use of the time you have!” Life goes on….

The Prayer
I pray you’ll be our eyes
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don’t know
Let this be our prayer
As we go our way
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe
La luce che to dai
I pray we’ll find your light
Nel cuore restero
And hold it in our hearts
A ricordarchi che
When stars go out each night
L’eterna stella sei
Nella mia preghiera
Let this be our prayer
Quanta fede c’e
When shadows fill our day
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we’ll be safe.
Sognamo un mondo senza piu violenza
Un mondo di giustizia e di speranza
Ognuno dia la mano al suo vicino
Simbolo di pace e di fraternita
La forza che ci dai
We ask that life be kind
E’il desiderio che
And watch us from above
Ognuno trovi amore
We hope each soul will find
Intorno e dentro a se
Another soul to love
Let this be our prayer
Let this be our prayer
Just like every child
Just like every child
Needs to find a place,
Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we’ll be safe
E la fede che
Hai acceso in noi
Sento che ci salvera
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don’t know

Blanked out
I'm feeling a lil out of place recently and I don't know why...
Don't feel like going to play mahjong..Played it in the end and won $22.
Played lousy in tennis game and can't seem to move correctly.
Had 6 hours of sleep but eye lids are uber heavy when i board the bus.
My mind is very empty and it's scaring me.

New shoe!
Got myself a new shoe at queensway after so much contemplations... Asics this time round! It's been awhile since I've visited that place and I only visit it when I needed to get something. Initially I had the intentions of getting a mizuno or new balance which I've been eyeing for the longest time ever. To my disappointment, there are no shops offering mizunos, seems like it's available to world of sports only. A huge noticable trend is tha nearly every shop offers asics. Seems like it's a popular brand now, I don't remember it being so popular the other time I came down. Not to mention that they're slashing the prices of it, so cheers to the consumers! Headed to a nearest available indian shop and tried both new balance and asics. I was pyscho-ed into getting the pair of asics. The price difference is $2 anyway!
Got a new shoe for my runs to come...and the first thing i went to do is dirty it! I'm going to make it as dirty as possible so I can leave it outside my house. The stupid idiot that stole my mizuno! You'd better watch out! I'm watching you... My feet are happy, so am I!

Running
I've been trying out on interval trainings and it is bloody tiring. I think I'm a consistent runner rather than a run-fast-stop-walk-then-run-fast-again kind of runner. Watched some utube videos on running tips and I thought it's quite interesting and here are some of the key points to take note when you're running a marathon.
1) Getting the correct footwear. I think my feet belongs to the neutral foot type hence I'll need a cushioning shoe. I’m intending to get a new pair of shoes soon as my current one is quite cui also. I’ve glued the soles together several times; I know I’m being very stingy over buying a pair of shoes. However, I’m so attached to my current pair and it is so seasoned already.
2) Do strengthening exercises to strengthen my muscles. Take note of my hip and abdominal muscles as they support your spine. I will try to do some stretching before and after my runs.
3) Eating right. It’s time to take in more carbohydrates and cut down on my proteins! Carbos provides the energy that is essential especially when it comes to endurance running. The coach mentioned that eating veggies is good rather than meat. The deer (which is a vegetarian) runs further and long, while a cheetah (meat eater) runs fast and leaps quickly. Hence, I promise to convert myself to a deer like eater. Hehe!
4) Pacing and interval trainings. It is important to pace your run so that you won’t hit in wall aka die out. Divide up the total distance that you have to run into 3 sections. The first 10km will be a slow paced one for you to conserve your energy, next 10km will be a more intense one and last few kilometers will progressively get quicker and quicker. However, I think I’d rather have the middle part be intense and slowly die out in the last few kilometers. Break up distance in intervals, run 1km quickly, rest for 2.5min, continue running for the next 1km and so on and so forth.
5) Trainings. Run small distances in the weekdays and do strengthening exercises as well. Run a considerable longer distance during the weekends. Recover in between. I hope I’ll be able to stick to this regime. Haiz..haiz.
Hope you guys had fun reading and hope that I’ll take in all these advices.

Dreamy Me
It's my lull period at the moment and I've been contemplating what's the next step I should head to. Since I've got pretty much time in hand. Perhaps I'll start off by starting up something...and below are some of the random ideas that I've come up with.
1) read up on investments
2) start a blog, either on food, travel or exercise
3) start a blogshop
4) studying a new language
which which which?

Run, Eat, Read n Watch
Life's has been mundane ever since I've gotten back from my adventure trip. I've been running more regularly in hopes to build up my stamina and shed some excess fat. The weight loss bit hasn't been achieving much great results.
As for eating wise, I'm very much enjoying the abundance of cheap and affordable high cholesterol laden food in our sunny island. This also pretty much explains why i fail to lose weight when my intake outweighs my output. I made a strawberry cheesecake that failed in taste but looks pretty visually. It tasted like custard instead of cheesy and I'm utterly disappointed in myself. I promise to try again soon.
Recently, I've been reading a few light hearted books to entertain myself besides my daily dosage of newspaper. I think I've rekindled my bittersweet relationship with books.
Hours spent in tvs and movies seemed to dipped a little, this is probably due to lack of entertaining shows and serials. I need some recommendations out there! There seemed to be no movies that interest me too. I watched the tourists recently though, it's quite a nice movie as the settings was mainly in Venice. The bulk of me liking this show is that I loved Venice alot, thus there's a lot of biasness when I said I liked it. Plot wise, it's average only and the ending is definitely anti-climax.
Life's simple but don't people always say, simplicity is beauty?

Implusive Acts
I was so bored at office yesterday such that I actually wanted to sign up for a dance class! Luckily I didn't. Things get out of hand when one's bored.
My colleagues bought dresses and she couldn't fit into them. I happily bought one of it from her. So I guess I've got an attire for cny!
Time to get started on silly lessons...
1 more month to my birthday and I'm getting stupid cranky

Regrets or Not?
This period has been a dull period for me. Not that I'm not happy but I guess I don't derive satisfaction in what I am doing. There are many times in which I try to motivate myself but I guess it's just isn't strong enough. Then I end up doing small other little things to try fill up my empty gaps. At many times I ask myself what I want in life but I know I'm not capable of doing them. Or perhaps I'm just not brave enough to try it. Life is full of ups and downs, though now is a down period for me but I'm very grateful for the many ups I've had. I believe that in life there are full of opportunities..I'm waiting...patiently...
People often say go for your dreams and achieve em' but I guess I'm pretty much stuck with this medication. I need to continue to consume it else I'll die of severe bleeding. Till then time whereby I've fully recovered then I'm able to break free and try. Time...I just need time...
Directions are something that I need. I really wanted to go visit a medium to know about my future and seek a sign. However, people will like future lies in your own hands. I'm just not good enough to read my own palms. So I guess I'll just need to find..I'll find my way..

Yayness!
Today at work is pretty much a senseless day. Cos at the end of work day is dept dinner, "Yay" to Indian food! Though my colleagues lament that I will get sick of it after some time, but nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to delicious Indian cuisines! I figured that it also due to the fact that I didn't have proper recommendations to good Indian food, so I follow the natives now! I'm sure I can't go wrong with that and so far, my hypothesis concurred.
I'll be ending work on time and zooming off to get presents on behalf on my colleagues. Another "Yay" to it as I get to spend money without burning too big a hole in my pocket. Recently I spent like $200 plus over the weekends, madness! I promise to be a thrifty girl... HAHA!
Finally, a last "Yay" with a bang! It's just 1 more day to my trip to Oz! I think I'm much more excited about holidays this time round because I'm officially allowed for a holiday! I guess I took school holidays for granted. No more of that nonsense and I'm going to cherish each and every leave that I'm given.
Dang, this post of mine is really childish. Pardon me cos I'm on a reading spree of diary of a whimpy kid, childish i know but it's really entertaining. So "Yay!"
P.S.: I figured that you guys haven't seen my face in a while. So here's some pictures that I took recently.
