the unfamiliar singapore...

strangely, i felt a lil out of place today when i went out. seemed like much has change after leaving the country for 5 months. some minor changes here and there around my neighbourhood.

omg no. 1: took the mrt to buona vista for my orthodontics appt and realised that boon lay wasnt the last stop of the east-west line! what the heck is joo koon!

omg no. 2: bukit batok polyclinic is under renovation and there's a shuttle to the cck one

omg no. 3: uwh has changed location! located in between mpsh and tennis court

omg no. 4: the new clementi shopping centre 金满地 such a "song" name

omg no. 5: the IR hotel is up! when i was on my way to the airport the other time...it's still flat and now it's staying abt 50 storeys high!

omg no. 6: i forgot out to cross the road...road directions are so different.

lastly, it's really weird to see so many chinese around me. i just i'm used to the ang mo culture. oh yah, i keep unconciously think of prices in euros. i even tell me friend that the bubble tea is 1.5 euro! jet lag is pretty bad too. i'm so sleepy in the afternoon and hyper active at 3am or so... dang... adjust adjust adjust!
