it's just only the start of school term but i'm already thinking of mid sems break. was supposed to go for my advanced diving but i think it's no longer feasible due to my faulty nose. if i really go under the knife, i won't be able to dive for 3 months. ah..shall not risk it coz it's really sensitive now. so now i'm thinking of organizing a trekking trip during mid sems break. where shall i go this time round? i wanna have a wild adventure once again.

happy birthday sg! there's no place to be other than home...leaving sg for 5 months is good enough for me to realise how good sg is. watched ndp at one fullerton. the fireworks was fantastic but this year's parade really very budget. think the fireworks lasted less than 5 min. moreover, there's no fireworks festival to boot. boo! i like fireworks lor...especially the golden shower of rain which covers the sky in total gold. to celebrate national day..i'll post some lame sg utube vids! enjoy! i very much like sg!

i've been sleeping at 4am and waking up at 8.30am..this is crappy sleep! i wanna kill myself.
sidenotes: i learnt to play powergrid! i think it's really fun! (partly coz i won too!) good to finally find frenz to play boardgames with. too bad year 4 i'm going to be a loner coz we're all taking different modules. hopefully we can meet up more often for boardgaming sessions!
sidesidenotes: i wanna watch "up", "g-force" and "gi-joe".. those whom know me well enough would know that i very much enjy watching cartoons.
i'm tired..but i cant sleep! crap...that explains my lousy blog entry

need to invent something!
i always silently complain as to why my grandma uses a matchstick to light up the stove when there's a lighter right beside the stove. you know, the spark ignition kind whereby you use to light up your bunsen burner. i couldnt take it anymore today as i was mopping the floor of my kitchen and saw her using the match stick. i went up to her with the lighter and taught her how to use it. kay..it really took a long time for her to realise where to actually exert the force but then i soon realise that her hands arent strong enough to pull the trigger. to us, it may seemed like an effortless task, but i didnt realised that she wasnt capable of doing that with her fingers. old folks joints are really weak..i must find a lighter that doesnt require so much force. maybe those press the button kind..
anyway, i think i didnt catch the swine flu (phew) the temporary fever went off however the flu still lingers..i'm still a lil apprehensive about it.

being at the upper class of the society...
mixing around with people who are rich and has statues, you get to realise that they have a certain flaire when they speak. the aura they possess is different. they drink wine with knowledge and eat food with grace. besides, i think they're very knowledgable bunch of people. tai tais can drink hi-tea and kopi too! i think it's time for me to learn more about wines and fine dining. i think it's rather essential especially after graduation whereby you gonna mix around your big bosses. i've yet to have any proper fine dining experience to date! coz i'm a poor girl...however, then again, i still much prefer my tze cha and bubble tea.
anyway, my friend bought me to a spanish restaurant in bb. i'm even surprised that there's such a pleasant place in sg which sells good spanish food to boot! even the spanish wine was good, though the paella was slightly dry. nevertheless, the tapas was good! it's definitely a good place to chill out as there're hardly anyone in the restaurant..lastly, i even had a convo with the boss of the restaurant (my friend knows the boss lah). it felt like home to have spanish convo with him! he does know lots about spain! i'm going to get back to the restaurant to try the churros! yum!
talking about food again. the snacks in ion are so so only lah..think taka and bugis offer better stuff! i'm getting poor again..needa find a job soon. any recommendations?

rich with the rich...
poor stuck with the poor..
i wanna be smarter! so i shall stick with smart ppl!
i'm finding ppl to get outta sg with me..no more malaysia! i'm so bored with that place. i've more or less explored the new areas in Sg last week. Bugis's Iluma, Orchard's Ion and Orchard central...I even went ubin to feed the mozzies. Tried loads of sg food and i think it's enough already. anyone who's free next week? most probably going to Macau/Hong Kong or Jakarta/Other cities in Indo.
meanwhile, i'm avoid thinking about FYP, design projects or whatever...i just wanna have fun before all these starts coming in..

getting injured for the wrong reasons...
i'm sucha idiot such that i get cuts and bruises for very wrong reasons. got cut today coz i was repairing my desktop, opened the cpu to plug back in my monitor card coz it came loose and got cut by the PCB board.
got a big patch of bruise which is still very clearly visible now coz i knocked over a bike.
cut by the brakes of the bike coz i was fixed back my bicycle. tried repairing the brake but failed due to different brake system.
p/s: i wanna play boardgames! weekdays have offer! those interested sms me k?

despite having hokkien mee, 蚝煎, ba chou mee, 五香, katong laksa plus 甘蔗汁.. i'm still dearly missing my 杏仁糊..am i asking for too much? i must eat it tmr! a must is a must! it's a matter of principle...
p/s: someone asked me when does school starts and i seriously have no idea! much less abt bidding. oh dear..i'm still at a holiday mood..

sg talks
feeling good to be back in singapore..especially that the weather isnt so dry. the only downside is that my hair takes a longer time to dry. at least i snip of the spilt ends of my brittle hair. though i'm still feeling abit lost getting around such that i had to use the traffic light near my place to cross the road. my sis was laughing at me when i told her that i felt weird crossing the road. i'm took used to looking towards the left! i can't help it coz whenever i'm on my bike my head just turns to the left. i gonna tell myself, look right, look right, look right! whenever i take the escalator i step towards the right too.
orchard practically changed so much! i was even tempted to whip out my camera to snap pictures of the new orchard road! with the new ion and orchard central..plus all the renovation going on. it's changing practically too fast!
bugis too! there's this new shopping centre with flashing lights in the evening! it's quite chio and the lighting arrangement are in hexagonal order.
not forgetting westmall with a new ice cream shop(whee!) and japanese titbit shop which sells over priced stuff. and finally the pizza hut in bb has closed down and changed to a prata shop. (good riddens)
for these few days, i practically felt like a tourist exploring sg. it's fun to eat my char kway tiao,wan ton mee, bbq stingray, satay, drink $1 bubble tea(clementi) have my $1 ice-cream with bread, drinking my ever favourite strawberry mos burger milkshake, finally got to eat my 鱼头炉, savouring durian and durian puffs.. sg definitely is a food heaven! till some time , pizza, pasta, bread, soups, western food is a big NO-NO for me.
