need to invent something!

i always silently complain as to why my grandma uses a matchstick to light up the stove when there's a lighter right beside the stove. you know, the spark ignition kind whereby you use to light up your bunsen burner. i couldnt take it anymore today as i was mopping the floor of my kitchen and saw her using the match stick. i went up to her with the lighter and taught her how to use it. kay..it really took a long time for her to realise where to actually exert the force but then i soon realise that her hands arent strong enough to pull the trigger. to us, it may seemed like an effortless task, but i didnt realised that she wasnt capable of doing that with her fingers. old folks joints are really weak..i must find a lighter that doesnt require so much force. maybe those press the button kind..

anyway, i think i didnt catch the swine flu (phew) the temporary fever went off however the flu still lingers..i'm still a lil apprehensive about it.
sidenotes: i realised i've not been taking photos that often in sg already. need to be more proactive about it. i've been meeting up with friends and such..but no photos..boo! no wonder i dont feel like updating my blog about what exactly i've been up to.
