went chingay today.. too bad zq had work and can't join us. i've been watching chingay on tv for the past 18 years and to watch it live is definitely better. you can feel the atmosphere , the vibe. this year's chingay cheer wasn't really do..i tried my best to cheer. but sorry, the cheer aint my cup of tea. most imptly i think i can do a much better job than the cheerleaders out there. (police pls dont catch me). the mc also cmi, she kept switching between english and mandarine. she was SUPPOSED to speak mandarine throughout lah. she's also blindly reading the mc script, btw her sentences were choppy! without the cheer and the mc bit, the whole chingay preview..i would say it's GOOD or even EXCELLENT. the performances was nice except the pre-parade performance..also cmi. aiya..can't complain too much. do u know that chingay is "asia's grandest streets & floats parade"? i'm kindda surprise to hear that! my apologies for my lousy photography skills...anyway the floats will be passing my block on 12 feb! i shall go down and catch a closer glimpse! overall i shall say, chingay 2006 indead mark a good ending to my cny! tml will be the actual thing..go catch it!
