belgium and chocolates! there're really lots of chocolates out there. however, they're not cheap! i'm more interested in the truffles though..they've got lots of variations as compared to singapore ones.

allow me to comment about the modules here. fuels and lubes is alright just that i'm feeling that the assignments are getting harder and harder. introduction robotics is the most er xin module that i've taken coz i need to use matlab! i'm still trying to fig this out! it's like MOMx2. Engin prof module hasnt started but think it's quite slack ba.. Consumer, Environment and International Negotiation is a crappy module. Same applies for Strategy..but since i've got good group mates. think it wouldnt be an big issue

just when i thought i had a sucky bday all alone in eindhoven. coz it really seems like no one is going to celebrate my bday or watever. i even had the thought of buyin a bday cake for myself lah! the surprise was really a pleasant one! thanks for those who cycled or walked to my humble abode! especially when it's sooo cold outside. i really liked the albert heijn's choco cake! cakes in holland are cheap and really nice!
lucky i brought a box of cream puffs from c1000 and shared it with the rest. the puffs are really cheap and mouthful! did i forgot to mention that the titbits here are ridculously cheap? it's about 1/3 of the price compared to sg. one bag of lays here is abt 1.5sgd here. the ice creams here! really really really cheap. my fav magnum selling for 4sdg for 4 sticks of it! think i'll get fat here...
anyway..really thank those to came down for the short surprise. especially so when we're just got to know each other only.
despite everything..i still miss sg badly..

life here is alright just that the modules here are really tough. moreover, there's a NEED to use matlab. i really wanna kill myself. i've got no choice but to take this module due to my specialization. taking the module with a bunch of master's student isnt helping too. hope i'll be able to pass it.. imagine not understanding a single thing for the first chapter, feeling damn crap. the school doesn't have tutorials or labs session and they emphasize alot on self study. yuck..hate it. who says SEP students won't be stress?! I AM!

they really have nice cups for different beers! belgium beers are really good...oh yah. we need to give them our student card when we're drinking the beer in those glasses coz they're afraid that students will kop the glasses. hah!

guess what the guys are doing?! it's a public toilet for guys...i think it's abit too outdoor..i cant imagine myself doing this when it's so freaking cold...

look at the crowd squeeze..and it's only thursday night. for once i see some life at eindhoven. eindhoven is really a boring place. the shops closes at 8pm and no shops open on sunday?!

sometimes i'm amazed by the amount of things i can do within such a short time..heh! i'm impressed with myself! =P

witnessed corrinne may live during work..she's really good at live performance. playing on the grand piano and singing. i even talked to her personally..though i only said one sentence. haha. liked this song that she sang during the event. too bad i didn't get her to sing 1 more song for me.. but at least i know one thing about her. she doesn't drinks cold water. hah! working in an a'tas restaurant is quite cool. literally and figuratively. the central air-con is freaking cold and i freeze...other than that, i get to see cool cars and people who are freakingly rich. oh..did i mentioned that lee kwan yew visited the restaurant twice?

i declare that SMALL BLACK LIZARD DISGUSTS ME! was doing some spring cleaning for new year and for my xchange then this ugly creature pop up! eeek! i hope my table wont become a dumping ground for my sis. she keeps dumping her stuff on my table coz my table is empty. i make it empty so that it looks neat. and she messes things up for me!
sidenotes: all my electrical appliances are dead...what a time! my camera spoilt, my rice cooker died. my printer isnt working. what's next!! gggrrr...

binging..my mass(layman's term of weight) has been scaling...
think i've been feasting too much on food. i've been giving myself too much excuses that i'll never get to eat all these food when i'm in holland..and my workplace isnt helping coz i always pinch on the desserts(my fav lime cheesecake) and food(crispy lamb rib and peking duck) there.
i need to shed of some fats so i can fit into my clothes when i reach holland.. i havent been jogging/exercising coz of some dumb reasons...
i need to curb my appetite! think i should go tighten up my braces so that i cant even chew...
the cny mood is getting into me...i dont feel like leaving..or...am i still leaving in the first place?

lucky me managed to settle my visa application before that dutch lady go for break. I wanted to ask her how fast will the process take. And this is the reply i got.

new year means new hopes? i doubt so.. think i've lost the optimistic me.
recapping my last year's resolution..

1) go trekking to at least 2 new places (i trekked 2 new places)
2) save $$ so i can travel (didnt save much)
3) become fairer and hope my teeth shifts faster! (i become fairer and my teeth shifted quite a bit)
4) keep myself active and busy for the year ( i think i'm sufficiently active)

as for this year's new year resolution..
i won't say i'd have a resolution but more of a wish...
wish is some stuff that is not within your control but you truly long for it..
i wrote the wish at some dumb place..haha. doubt anyone will know where it is!
